week 7

Two books i would recomend for a student trying to reach 500,000 words would be "MOnster blood tattoo" by D.M. Cornish because its a supernatural adventure book. Another would be "Wanted" by Caroline B. Cooney because its a murder, supspense bookand both these books are'nt huge books, they are the right amount of thickness.

week 1

If 7th grade boys and girls want supernatural books and have already read all age appropiate vampire books I would recomend they read "Dark flight down" by Sedgwick Douglas because this book is full of actiona nd involes spells, killing, and demons. Another book would be "Monster blood tattoo" by D.M. Cornish. I would recomend this book because its also an action book about a boy who is a weakling at school and also about killing monsters. I found out about both these books by looking at the supernatural section in the library.

week 3

If we were to make a new display table about comics, 5 books i would recommend putting to display would be "Avatar: the last airbender" by Longhorn, Robert, which I found out by wacthing the TV show, I would put this book up because I've seen the show and the show is awesome and read one book which was awesomer. "Naruto" by Kishimoto, Masashi, which I also found out by a TV show, I would put this book up because it's full of action and some comedy. "Oh my goddess" by Fujishima, Kosuke, which I found out because one of my friends always read the series and bugged me all the time so that I can read it, I would put this book up because I read it and found it very thrilling. "Bone" by Smith, Jeff, I found out about this book by random book searching. I would put this book up because its funny. "Stormbreaker" Johnston, Antony, I found out about this book because thers also a movie about it, I would put this book up because i read it and i was so cool, it was full of action, comedy, and drama. These would be the books I would put up on display

week 1 march

if a a group of 8th graders boys and girls wanted o read supernatural books that arn' t vampire books ecause they have read 'em all then I would recomend the books "Dark flight down by Sedgwick, Marus because it's so dramatic at times and it has to do with monsters and an adventure of findin a dook that decides if the finder lives or dies. Another book would be the City of ashes series by Clare, Cassandra. I haven't this book myself but I've heard that i is the most coolest book that involves action, magic and demons and my last book would be "Book of the dead days" by Sedgwick, Marcus. This book is also cool and full of action and magic. These books would be my selection for them to read next.

random moments

My weekend was very very very boring. It was so boring that i learned how to do a splits in the air and on the floor. Durring my weekend I also got very suprised when I ate Oreos and got Diarrhea and my farts stunk. and right about now Mr. Pascascio observing my Blog and had no comment, and once again no comment. I went to a mini mall and bought three shirst, one im wearing now, and all together they cost about 25 dollars.

author assigment

2 months agoi was assigned to read a book. My choice was the book "The dark flight down" by Sedgwick, Marcus. This book was very cool and now im in the second book. This book is about a boy who works and lives with a magician named Valerian. But the boy never new his parents and was born in the streets people just call him boy and he has a friend named Willow who also never knew her parents. As the story goes on Valerian finds himself in trouble because he was suppose to find a special spell bok and use it to make the king eternal lifed. But he never brought it and who did bring it was a red feather official. There was a huge ceromony to celebrate the fact that the king would be eternal which Boy, Valerian, and Willow all attended. When the spell was made Boy realized what happened and screamed out that it was a faked and that he faked the spell. People got really mad and the red feathered official was so embarrased he summoned an ugly demon monster thing to kill boy and Valerian. But when Boy saw the monster and the monster saw him, boy saw a similar resemblense in him and the monster and soon found out that the monster was his brother. The monster didn't harm boy and instead tried to save him and died trying.

week 8

if a group of 6th and 7th grade ESL students arived to me asking for a simple realistic fiction book I'd recomend them the book June 29, 1999 by Wiesner David because it's simple and the words in it are pretty easy to read and understand. Another book would be Gulty by Gallagher, Diana G. because it's reading levels are from 4 grade to 8th grade so in that case it won't be hard to read but it's not that easy.

week7

if a gaggle of 8th graders come up to me and ask for science fiction and fantasy books, I would recomend the books "The lightning thief" by Riordan, Rick. "The Giver" Lowry, Lois. "Found" Haddix, Margaret Peterson.

week 6

If 3 six graders come to the library asking for books about earthquakes and after i hand them the books they decide they want to use internet information. I'd say to go to the digital library and click on Britanica online then type in earthquakes and click on whichever link on earthquakes. There are many options for earthquakes and whichever one is good.

week 5

If a 6th grade male math teacher asked me where can he find math riddles, puzzles, ect. for his students for extra credit i would recomend him the books ABC math riddles by Martin, Jannelle, Sir Cumferenceand the dragon of PI: a math adventure by Neuschwander, Cindy, Marvelous math: a book of poems by Hopkins, Lee Bennett, The math chef : over 60 math activities and recipes for kids by D'Amico, Joan, Calculator riddles by Adler, David A NY and the the call number for math books in the non-fiction section is 510

week 4

if an 8th grader asked me if i can recomend him some sites for pictures for the civil war or soldiers i would give him the sites: Ap images.ap.org becuse it has nice images of the Civil war. the really the only one i could find.

7th grade buddhism teacher

if a soon to be 7th grade buddhism teacher asked me to recomend her 2-3 books, a dvd or video all related to Buddhism i would recomend her the books Buddhist faith of America by Burgan, Michael, What do we know about Buddhism by Ganeri, Anita, and Buddhism by Wilkinson, Phillip. A DVD or video would be "What is Buddhism" by Dennett, Ashleigh.

8th grade diary fiction

an 8th grade girl aske me where i can find fiction books written like diaries. I found three books wich are Diary of a wimpy kid Dog Days by Jeff Kinney, The Diary of Anne Frank by Anne Frank herself, and Diary of a wimpy kid Rodrick Rules by Jeff Kinney. I found both diary of a wimpy kid books by the book oders. and i found out about Diary of Anne Frank by my 5th grade teacher. so sometimes it pays off to just look around. another way you can find them is by going to the book finder and type in Diary as a topic and it will find all books related to a diary.

6 grade funny books

a 6 grader asked me to recommend him 2 to 3 funny books. 1 book would be Holes by Luis Sachar because its about a boy whos name is his last name spelled backwards and he got framed of steeling a pair of famous baseball shoes. He was offered to go to jail or camp. He chose camp and was supose to dig about a thousand holes in 18 months. at first he was getting opicked on but later on made friends. Another book would be Diary of a Wimpy kid Dog Days by Jeff Kinney. This book is about a boy named Greff Heffley who wants to spend all summer vacation in doors playing video games. But Greg's mom has a different state of mind. she wants to spend summer with family fun time and out door activities. Whos vision for summer will out win or will this change everything in this family. My last recomendation would be A midsummer nights dork by Carol Gorman its about a six grader who wants to make a a name in middle school.but first he makes a deal witha bully to complete a serious of dares. would he still make a name after embarassing himself in front of the whole school or will become the schools laughing stalk.

new Band

yea so me and my friend herson are trying to start a band together. we still have trouble deciding our bands name. the type of musioc we are going to play is emocore(for some reason) i wanted to play NU-metal but whatever. there are only five band mates but me and herson are like the only ones who know who to play an instrument. i play drums and he plays guitar. he really wants to be guitar and vocals but his voice just doesn't cut it its too calm. so thats another challenge for us, trying t find a singer who can really sing. That basically all i know from the band. ill let you know if something happens.

OMG i cant bleave i might actually go to a slipknot concert. im scared to go doe because ive seen youtube videos of slipknot concerts and they arent pretty. they are like a free pass to fight. i meen seriously, Slipknot's DJ Sid Wilson actually got in a fight with a fan. suprisingly they still love him. well i jst tinks hes like super awesome!!befre i attend the concert im surely gonna bring some extra prtotection juat incase things get ugly. I wonder why people still love to go to a concert knowing they will get hurt.

last nights party

wow on saturday i went to a party and it was cool cuz me and my frend edward were hanging out at the parking lot and suddeenly we see a cat just walkin around enjoyin da world nd a fat czt jst runns up behind her and gets on top of her. i was like WOW. then da cat trys to run away but da oder one was too big it couldnt. and then we saw cats having intorcorse.....wierd

puddle of mud

met a girl thought she was granded we fell in love found out first hand. it went well for a week or two then it all came unglued. in a trap, trip i cant grip, never thought i'd be the one how'd slip then i started to realize i was living one big lie and she f**** hates me. i tried too hard and she tore my feeliings like i had none and ripped then away. thats my story as you see i learned my lesson and so did she. now its over and im glad. cuz im a fool for all i've said!!
